The effectiveness of an online grammar study scheme for Chinese undergraduate students

Abstract This paper outlines and describes the effectiveness of a virtual learning environment (VLE) as grammar resource for first year students at university in southern China over two academic years. The resource, named Independent Grammar Study Scheme (IGSS), offered short exercises that were completed 14-week period by cohorts one students. results this study suggest IGSS was successful raising test scores participants both 2018 2019; more beneficial to with lower English proficiency but not VLE has been great benefit around thousand thus far.
